A 7 kW DC charger means DC output of ~7 kW. But what is required on the input side? Some units require 380 V three-phase AC input. For example: the “7 kW CCS2 Movable DC Charger” lists input rating 380 Vac.

Home wiring in North America is often single‐phase 240V (or 120/240V), not 380V three‐phase. Unless you have special wiring, upgrading may be expensive.

Practicality & Value

A 7 kW DC charger is still fairly slow for “fast” compared to commercial DC chargers (which are 50 kW, 100 kW, etc). Having DC at home for limited benefit may not justify cost/complexity.
If your EV supports DC fast-charging via CCS/CHAdeMO, and you already have access to public fast chargers, the benefit of a home DC charger may be marginal vs a good Level 2 AC charger.
Some communities/homeowners associations may have special rules or restrictions about installing such equipment.
Maintenance, service/repair availability may be more limited for imported/less common home‐DC chargers.
