MIDA 480kW 800kW 1220kW Scalable Cabinet Design Split-Type DC Charging Station for Mining Fleet Charging

One Enclosure, Three Ratings
Electrification rarely arrives all at once. A mine converts four trucks, watches utilisation for two quarters, then converts twelve more, and a charger bought at full rating on day one spends a year half idle. The cabinet is built around module slots, so the same enclosure ships at 480kW with the bus and cooling sized for 1220kW, and the extra rectifiers drop in during a planned shutdown. Every rating keeps the same dispenser layout and the same OCPP profile, which means no re-commissioning and no second SCADA integration. Fleet planners sizing the first phase read the 360kW 720kW scalable modular split station, the 480kW 800kW power cabinet dispenser charger and the 600kW 960kW commercial split DC fast charging station against their own growth curve.

Adding kW Without Adding Footprint
Footprint is the constraint nobody budgets for. Once the pad, the fence line and the cable trench are poured, a bigger charger usually means a new civil package, and on a working pit that means a permit and a shutdown. Module-level scaling keeps the civil works fixed: 480kW to 1220kW arrives as additional inserts behind the same doors, and the cooling loop is already sized for the top rating, so the only site work is a crane lift and a torque check on the busbar. Health monitoring reports per-module current sharing, so an unbalanced string is visible before it derates the site. Buyers comparing upgrade paths study the 720kW 960kW dynamic load balancing charger, the 800kW 960kW electric truck fleet charger, the 1000kW 1200kW liquid-cooled split EV charger and the MIDA charging projects library.
